It took over 2 years of research and selection of food substances rich in polyphenols to create Powellnux, a multifunctional food blend that, thanks to the cold production technique, maintains all the benefits of antioxidants intact.
My initial idea was to use different substances rich in natural antioxidants to create a powerful mix. I therefore used the following foods that are known, by most scientific studies, to have high antioxidant power: dark cocoa, hazelnuts, green tea and honey. The mixture was cold-processed to keep the active ingredients of all the substances present unaltered.
I then wanted to subject the formula I created to scientific verification, using the same rigorous criteria used in drug testing, that is, through a randomized controlled trial (RCT), capable of evaluating the effectiveness of the mixture on a group of healthy subjects.
After administering the antioxidant-rich mixture, we studied the parameters of oxidative stress and nitric oxide present in the blood, the microcirculation to see the capacity of dilation of the arteries, and finally we also performed an electrocardiogram under stress to study physical performance.
All this to verify if there was a direct effect both on the blood and arteries, and on the organism. The results were beyond expectations. The subjects who had taken this mixture, had an increase in nitric oxide, less oxidative stress, greater vasodilation and the heart tolerated the effort much better.
I had therefore created an all-natural supplement, without chemical additives and with a low calorie content (an average dose of 2 teaspoons is only 130 calories), a powerful concentrate of energy and well-being with multiple effects:
- Energizing effect, improved physical performance
- Antioxidant effect, slowing down the aging process
- Cardiovascular, positive effect on normal cardiovascular function
The studies carried out on the mixture were then validated by a prestigious scientific journal following which I decided to patent the formula and call the antioxidant mixture Powellnux.
